The City Manager is the chief executive officer for the City of Xenia. In this capacity, the City Manager is responsible for conducting the day-to-day operations of the city and oversees various departments, including the Public Service Department, the Development Department, and the Human Resources Department. By City Charter, the City Manager is the public safety director for Xenia, and as such oversees the Fire and Police Divisions.
The City Manager also serves as the City’s budget administrator and is responsible for developing and administering Xenia’s annual operational and capital improvement budgets.
