Leaf collection underway in Xenia

2019 Leaf Collection

Leaf collection in the City of Xenia begins on November 18th and continues through December 13th.

The city is divided into two zones and Xenia Public Service collect leaves from each zone twice. Zone 1 includes all areas north of Main Street and Zone 2 includes all areas south of Main Street. Main Street addresses are picked up with Zone 1.

The first collection round for Zone 1 is November 18th through November 22nd. Zone 2 is collected November 25th through November 29th. The second round for Zone 1 is collected December 2nd through December 6th, while Zone 2 has its second collection December 9th through December 13th.

Residents are asked to rake their leaves to the curb before the Monday of their pick-up week. Cars should also not park in the leaf pick-up area. Leaf piles should also only contain leaves, as leafing equipment cannot pick up sticks, limbs or trash.

Leaves may also be mulched or bagged and taken to the Greene County Recycling Center on Greene Way Boulevard. For more information, click here.
